Program Overview

UCL’s MSc Medical Robotics and Artificial Intelligence is a cutting-edge interdisciplinary program designed to equip students with the technical and clinical knowledge needed to innovate at the intersection of robotics, AI, and healthcare technology. The curriculum focuses on developing intelligent robotic systems for surgery, diagnostics, and rehabilitation, drawing upon UCL’s world-class research in robotics, computer vision, and machine learning.

Course Overview

  • Core: MSc Research Project, Robotic Systems Engineering, Medical Robotics and Devices, Surgical Data Science, Artificial Intelligence for Surgery and Intervention

  • Optional: Computer-Assisted Surgey and Theory, Clinical Practice, Medical Device Enterprise Scenario, Machine Learning in Medical Imaging, MRI-guided Devices, Research Software Engineering with Python, Robot Vision and Navigation, Robotic Sensing, Manipulation and Interaction 

Teaching & Learning:
