Program Overview

The MSc(Eng) Biomedical Engineering at the University of Liverpool delivers in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the application of engineering principles to healthcare. This interdisciplinary course is ideal for graduates from engineering, physics, or life sciences who want to work in the biomedical sector or pursue research careers. Core Modules: Technical Writing for Engineers, Structural Biomaterials, Computer Aided Design, Group Engineering Design, Statistics, Cardiovascular Physiology and Mechanic, Musculoskeletal Biomechanics, Tissue Engineering, Statistics, Group Engineering Design, Cardiovascular Physiology and Mechanics

Optional Modules: Introduction to Ethics in Healthcare, Introduction to Research Ethics in Healthcare, Materials Processing and Selection, Finite Element Analysis, Smart Materials, Advanced Manufacturing with Lasers, Advanced Engineering Materials
