This course is ideal for those with no or very little prior English language teaching experience (less than two years) who wish to become an English language teacher to speakers of other languages. The course has a practical focus and is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge base required to excel as an English language teaching professional in a global environment. The course has a very practical focus. You will have the opportunity to take a one-year module on practical teaching. You will be involved in demonstrating a range of teaching methods in practical sessions, designing teaching materials, planning lessons and tests.

A first degree (normally 2.1) or an equivalent professional or academic qualification, Aperiod of professional work experience incorporating operational responsibilities three years minimum, preferably five, Two academic or vocational references, IELTS of 6.5 with minimum of 5.5 in each component, Personal Statement.
