You ll study the sociocultural, historical and structural complexities of the English language with the possibility to study other modern languages as well, if you choose.
A minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree in linguistics, English language and/or literature, or a modern language. Your previous degree should have included study in at least one of these four main research areas: Language and society, Historical linguistics, Literary linguistics, Theoretical linguistics. Overall IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component, or equivalent.
