Newcastle UniversityThe Professional Translation for European Languages MA combines practical training and theory to give you the skills and knowledge to become a professional translator. You will receive expert training in professional tools and computer-assisted translation (CAT) software. The training will explain how to work in different contexts.
Normally a 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent.Native-level writers of English must have French, German, Italian or Spanish language as a major component. Native-level writers of French, German, Italian or Spanish must have English language as a major component. IELTS 7.0 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in all sub-skills).
