You will have the option of studying modules in sociolinguistics, psychology of language, discourse analysis, stylistics, first and second language acquisition, and teaching English as a foreign language.We introduce the key ideas and concepts in applied linguistics, training you in relevant research methods including quantitative and qualitative approaches. You also have access to training, software and resources for conducting corpus-assisted studies of language in use.
A 2:1 (or international equivalent) in English language/literature or a related arts or humanities subject. IELTS of 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element).
