The MLitt in French Studies offers students the opportunity to acquire advanced knowledge of contexts that have shaped literature and culture in the French-speaking lands from the Medieval period to the present day. The MLitt in French Studies is a one-year taught programme run by the Department of French in the School of Modern Languages. The programme concentrates on the research-led study of major conflicts and continuities in the cultural, literary or intellectual history of French-speaking lands.
