This Sports Coaching MSc enables current practitioners to develop their conceptual understanding of coaching in sport. The course blends vocational and theoretical learning to explore a wide range of disciplines, including pedagogy, leadership and performance analysis. You will also analyse problems from different perspectives, apply knowledge to professional settings and develop into an effective and reflective coach.
Students will normally have a 2:1 classification in a sport related degree. Students who hold a sport-related degree classification of either 2:2 (or below), or, a non-sport related degree will be considered on a case by case basis and may be required to submit a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate coaching experience.An IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 5.5 in each component.
