Semester 1: Core Journalism Skills

In the first semester, students are introduced to the fundamental aspects of broadcast journalism. Modules such as "Researching News," "Law for Journalists," and "Broadcast Journalism Portfolio" lay the groundwork for practical and ethical journalism. Students engage in hands-on projects, utilizing industry-standard equipment and software to develop their skills in various media formats. 

Semester 2: Advanced Reporting and Production

Building upon the foundational knowledge, the second semester delves deeper into specialized areas of broadcast journalism. Modules like "Communicating with the Media," "Dealing with Data for Journalists," and "Radio and NGO Communication in Conflict-Affected Areas" allow students to explore advanced reporting techniques, production processes, and the integration of digital technologies in journalism. Students are encouraged to develop their unique journalistic voice and expertise, preparing them for diverse roles in the media industry.
