Sussex is an internationally recognised centre for teaching and research in international development in the UK. Sussex Anthropology pioneered the anthropological critique of development. They examine the impact of economic and social change on local practices, meanings and identities. This MA has a strong focus on issues of anthropological engagement, development policy and activism. It s for you if you have experience, or are considering a career, in the development field.
A UK 2:1 (Honours) degree or equivalent in relevant subjects. IELTS score of 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5. Relevant work experience required.
