This course is designed to equip you with the fundamental tools of a professional economist, giving you the ability to assess a wide range of theoretical, empirical or policy economic issues. Your training incorporates interactive learning, for example in the application of software to research in the core areas of economics. The course gives you the option for specialisation in classes that are relatively small in size to allow for active interaction. You also have the opportunity of doing a project with an external organisation.
A good undergraduate honours degree (2:1 or above), or equivalent from a university outside the UK, in relevant subject. IELTS 6.5 overall with no element less than 5.5 (or equivalent).
