This Human Geography Research MA is a recognised pathway within the the ESRC Northern Ireland/North East (NINE) Doctoral Training Partnership. It provides advanced-level training in research skills, methods and theories so you can pursue a career in research. Newcastle University is one of the leading places for geographical research in the UK. A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in a relevant arts, humanities or social science subject, such as: geography, planning, urban studies, environmental studies, sociology, politics, business studies. IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills).
