The Leadership Challenge helps you reflect on and develop personal leadership behaviours through workshops and group activities, while Managing Change deepens your understanding of innovation and organisational adaptation — essential skills for managers operating in dynamic global settings. You can also choose options such as Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism, Chinese Security Issues or Dimensions of Globalisation that broaden your perspective on how political, security and socio-economic forces affect international business and governance.

Stage Three – Dissertation

A core component of the programme is your dissertation, where you bring together political and managerial insights to research a topic of your choice — applying theories and methods to a real-world issue, supported by faculty from both the School of Social Science and the Business School. This project develops your independent research skills and gives you a substantial piece of work to showcase to future employers.
