Curriculum structure

Towards the middle of the year, you will choose optional units aligned with your interests and pathway. Options include Political Economy of Global Business, which explores how global markets evolve; European Capitalisms, examining crisis and transformation in different economies; and Critical Environmental Politics, if you are passionate about sustainability. These options let you dive deep into specialist themes from economics to international relations.

In the final term, you will complete a research-led dissertation, writing a 12,000–15,000 word project that brings together your learning and reflects your own interests. This is excellent preparation for policy roles or further research.
