The MA is delivered through an intense programme of practical classwork, reflective tutorials and attachments as assistant directors on LAMDA productions, supporting the work of professional directors. The training culminates in productions directed by the MA students and staged at LAMDA.
The minimum entry age for this course is 18. There is no upper age limit. There are no academic requirements for this course. Admission is by audition. Applicants should be fluent English speakers. Non-native speakers do not need to provide an English language test report when they apply as they assess English at the auditions, however they will need to provide a valid IELTS test report with an overall score of seven if offered a place.
