The MFA Professional Acting provides accelerated conservatoire training combined with industry-level postgraduate project work. Graduates become agents for change through intensive small-group teaching, rehearsal and performance, mentoring and imaginative use of technology - defining and creating new landscapes for dramatic art. This programme sets out to stretch and grow students' talent as actors so they can contribute intellectually and creatively to the highest standard of dramatic work. It is suited for those who already have an undergraduate degree and/ or some relevant acting experience.
The minimum entry age for this course is 18. There is no upper age limit. There are no academic requirements for this course. Admission is by audition. Applicants should be fluent English speakers. Non-native speakers do not need to provide an English language test report when they apply as they assess English at the auditions, however they will need to provide a valid IELTS test report with an overall score of seven if offered a place.
