Program Overview

The Department of Marine Sciences offers graduate degree programs at the Ph.D. and M.S. levels with concentrations in biological, chemical, geological and physical oceanography. Our graduate students have access to the extensive field and laboratory facilities in Athens and at the Marine Institute on Sapelo Island, the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography near Savannah, and the Marine Extension service in Brunswick on the Georgia coast.
