Program Overview

Committed to educating students for practice in an increasingly global world, and to serving the growing needs of immigrants and refugees, SSW offers the innovative BRIDGE Program (Building Refugee and Immigrant Degrees for Graduate Education). Designed to address the absence of in-community, ethnic social workers, the BRIDGE Program trains and supports participants, who are either refugees or immigrants themselves, for success in a social work academic program.
