Students who choose a theatre major learn theatre from top to bottom and develop an understanding of the collaboration inherent in successful theatre production Youll be encouraged to design your own approach to theatre by building a strong liberal arts background Alongside that youll be encouraged to participate in a variety of aspects of the schools theatre productions -- acting,directing,design,costumes,lighting and promotion Youll be mentored and supported by faculty members who have credentials in theatre as well as in classrooms
