Program Overview

The Master of Business Analytics (MBAn) at MIT Sloan is an elite, STEM-designated program designed to train the next generation of high-impact data professionals in solving business problems through advanced analytics, optimization, and machine learning. Jointly delivered by MIT Sloan and the MIT Operations Research Center, the program offers a powerful combination of rigorous technical education and real-world business application.

This program is ideal for students with strong quantitative backgrounds seeking to drive data-informed decision-making in sectors such as consulting, tech, finance, healthcare, and operations.

Program Format & Duration

  • Full-time, intensive 12-month program (July to June)

  • Format: On-campus (Cambridge, MA)

  • STEM-designated (eligible for up to 3 years of OPT)

  • Admission: Single intake per year (July start)

  • Highly selective (~60 students per cohort)
