Program Overview

The MS ABA in the Department of Psychology is a two-year program that meets the BACB Fourth Edition Task List for coursework and practicum experience. YSU's program is a "Verified Course Sequence" (VCS) by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) qualifying graduates to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam, become "BCBAs" and qualified to become Certified Ohio Behavior Analysts (COBA).

A bachelor's degree ,Cumulative grade-point average in undergraduate work of at least 2.7 on a 4.0 scale,A test of written/spoken English,undergraduate GPA below 2.7, three letters of recommendation, English Proficiency Test TOEFL score A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based test, or 79-80 on the Internet-based (IBT), IELTS (International English Language Testing System) as an alternative to the TOEFL exam for international students (A score of 6.5 on the IELTS test equates to a 550 on the paper-based TOEFL).
