Reading Specialists collaborate with PK-12 school and district leaders to deliver system-level change in literacy education, advocate for effective literacy programs, and coach classroom teachers and paraprofessionals to improve literacy instruction. Students who enroll in the Ed.S. program have the option to major in Reading Specialist, Reading Specialist and ESL (K-12), and Reading Specialist and LBS1 (K-12) endorsements.
