The 30 credit Master of Science in Art Education (Birth to Grades 12) offers a unique opportunity for students to advance their development as creative artists while sharing their love of art with young people in public and private schools.The M.S. plan of study is designed to meet the needs of all interested students preparing to enter the field (45 credits). Candidates in both programs sharpen their design and drawing skills through studio classes and workshops in traditional and electronic media. All students also take courses aimed at enhancing their teaching skills and exploring the psychological, philosophical and social foundations of art education.
