Program Overview

The MEd in Educational Leadership is a 36 credit-hour non-thesis program that prepares individuals to serve in roles of educational leadership. The program includes a pathway to certification for those persons wanting to serve as elementary and secondary principals, supervisors and central office staff in public and private schools (where certification may be required). The program also includes a pathway that is not inclusive of Texas administrator (i.e., principal or superintendent) certification.
