Program Overview

The master’s degree is step-lock and completed in five consecutive semesters (2 years) for full-time students taking 12 credit hours per semester. Part-time students are also step-lock and complete the course sequence over 4 years.

Our practice-based program prepares counselors to work in inpatient, outpatient, non-profit, private practice, community agency, governmental, and educational settings.

Application A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a (previously referred to as) “regionally” accredited college or university. Official transcripts. A minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) TOEFL iBT: 79 or IELTS 6.5 overall. GRE 3 letters of recommendation Statement of intent Cultural Statement Resume or CV Writing sample Interviews are required Financial Sponsorship Medical Insurance
