The school counselor is responsible for finding solutions to these challenges in order to provide a safe and enriching learning environment.School counselors are trained to develop and co-ordinate a P-12 comprehensive, developmental school counseling program that includes individual and group counseling, classroom guidance, making referrals, and consulting with others.
