Northern Kentucky University is located in Highland Heights, Kentucky. The university is a public university that began in the year 1946. The university started really small initially and was located at Trailways Bus Station in Covington, Kentucky. There were only a few students who enrolled at that time. In 1968, with some recommendations from the North Kentucky community, Northern Kentucky State College was formed. Just after that, more students got enrolled in the college and the college grew rapidly. Northern Kentucky University gained more popularity in the preceding years and was one of the members of the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. The university now is a premier University in the region and there are students from all around the globe enrolled in the university.
