Program Overview

The Master of Education Degree Moderate Disabilities Program is designed for candidates who possess a bachelors degree who wish to obtain an Initial Teaching License in grades PreK-8 or grades 5-12.The purpose of the program is to address the shortage of special education teachers who can provide challenging yet developmentally appropriate instructional/curriculum, which enables children with moderate disabilities to become as independent and self-sufficient as they can become.
