2 Years On Campus Masters Program
Hofstra University’s School of Education offers its Inclusive Elementary Special Education, MSEd to candidates who are seeking their first teacher prep program, which will help them earn both their NYS Initial Childhood Grades 1-6 and Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6 certifications. Candidates with no prior background in education who are seeking to work with both Childhood and Special Education populations are encouraged to apply.
Application A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major, concentration, or the equivalent, in one or more of the liberal arts and sciences. Coursework must include at least 3 credits in the following: Math, Science, History/Social Science, English, and World Language with a grade of C or above. Unofficial Transcripts GPA 3.0 out of (4.0 scale) Personal Statement Three Letters of Recommendation Interview TOEFL iBT: 80 OR IELTS 6.5 overall. GRE (optional)
