Additional Information & Requirements

Online application for admission. Official copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts from each institution attended with all degrees posted. All transcripts must be from accredited institutions. Undergraduate transcripts must show: A minimum 2.75 GPA overall or 2.75 GPA in the last 60 hours attempted, Completion of a course in Children s or Adolescent Literature OR the student will need to choose one of the IME or ELED courses as their selection under Area 2, Language and Literacy, in the Professional Education section of the plan of study, Completion of a 3-hour course in Reading Methods or Language Arts Methods, which must be taken before the Reading courses.Hold a Standard Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Elementary-Secondary Education or Secondary Education. Candidates must provide documentation of at least two years of successful teaching experience at an accredited school prior to completion of the program. Copy of passport. Statement of Financial Sponsorship. Proof of English Proficiency: TOEFL - 79 IBT or 550 PBT; IELTS - 6.5 overall band; Duolingo English Test - 105; Transcripts showing undergraduate degree was completed from an accredited university or college within the United States or from a UCO-approved native English-speaking country.
