Hofstra University’s School of Education offers a master’s degree for candidates seeking NYS teacher certification in Teaching English as a Second Language K-12 with a STEM specialization specifically for educators who seek the skills, knowledge, and dispositions to integrate the teaching of the STEM curriculum to all students, but especially to students of diverse language backgrounds.  This program is open only to those that have their initial teaching certification in another area.
