Program Overview

The Sculpture facilities at Pratt include a professionally equipped metals shop with foundry, wood shop, plastics/resins area, ceramics, and moldmaking studios. Sculpture students have access to courses and facilities in Printmaking, Jewelry-making, and in Drawing and Painting within Fine Arts. Students may take courses and gain access to facilities in other Departments at Pratt such as Digital Arts (advanced digital video and animation, digital tools including 3D modeling, printing, and scanning) and Photography (both traditional film processes and digital). Pratt s Department of Fine Arts is also affiliated with Urban Glass, an independent, comprehensive glass studio in Brooklyn where students may enroll in credit-bearing courses each semester.
