The Department of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Memphis and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Biomedical Engineering at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, participate in the Joint Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering. The Joint Program offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering.
An appropriate engineering bachelor’s degree (biomedical, chemical, electrical, mechanical, or others as defined by the Joint Program); An undergraduate GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale from an accredited college or university; Official transcripts. TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.5 overall.
