Program Overview

The Masters of Science in Engineering Technology is designed to provide students with an understanding of the production and operations interfaces between electrical and mechanical environments in the manufacturing setting. The curriculum will provide course work that supports the integration of current manufacturing standards. The degree provides courses in advanced robotic manufacturing processes including vision-based systems, and instrumentation and smart sensor interfacing to support the manufacturing process. The program covers design and modeling of electromechanical systems such as positioning of robotic arms, pick and place technology using vision, recognition and feedback sensing, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and interfacing sensors
