The graduate program in Mechanical Engineering is designed to provide advanced studies for the graduate engineer who wishes to continue preparation for effective participation in the professions of mechanical engineering. The program also provides continuing education in advanced subjects for the working engineer who acknowledges the need to stay abreast of the rapidly changing technological world. Emphasis is placed on the development of the engineer’s capacity for independent study and continued professional growth.
Application A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or its equivalent with a GPA of 2.5 or better. Official transcripts. Three letters of recommendation Official copies of academic records from each college/university attended, accompanied by official English translations. TOEFL iBT: 79 or IELTS 6.0 overall. GRE may be waived if GPA is 3.0 or higher Submit the affidavit of support form which is required for verification of financial resources in order to issue the I-20. Original bank statements verifying account balances & Original letters from bank officials written in English on bank letterhead verifying the account holder, account number and current balance in U.S. dollars.
