Earn your master s in Professional and Technical Writing and jumpstart your career as an expert technical communicator. Our curriculum is purposefully balanced to incorporate both theoretical and practical learning. Both inside and outside of the classroom, our students get involved in the vibrant Portland Silicon Forest community via class client projects, internships, and networking events, such as our monthly PSU Technical Communication Meetup, which provides graduate students with the chance to network with local technical writing experts.

Complete the graduate application, Send the Graduate School s Admissions office your official academic transcripts, Submit evidence of English language proficiency, Provide financial documentation demonstrating adequate financial support for at least the first year of study, individual graduate program that you are applying for, additional department requirements may include: Personal essay or statement of purpose, Letters of recommendation, Standardized test scores, Resume, Writing samples, Portfolio, Submit Financial Documentation, English Language requirement:TOEFL IBT: minimum overall score of 71; minimum subscore of 15 in reading and writing, Academic IELTS:6.0 overall; minimum 6.0 in reading and writing, Academic PTE: 53 overall, SAT: 560 or above in the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section, DET Duolingo English Test: 110 or above
