Undergraduate degree, B average in their major field of study, Must have taken some undergraduate courses in the humanities, Language, Linguistics or literature, 12 credit hours of undergraduate courses in a single foreign language, Essay/statement of purpose describing their goals for studying in the graduate Program in applied Linguistics, Three letters of recommendation for international applicants, English Language requirement: Must submit scores from the TOEFL iBT 88 or from the TOEFL PBT 570 or IELTS Academic Module 6.5 or above, GRE verbal reasoning: 150, GRE verbal: 480, SAT critical reading: 480, SAT reading test: 26, GCSE or GCE: O level pass in English; CPE: C or higher, PTE Academic Test: 53
