Gannon University’s Master of Athletic Training program prepares students to deliver patient-centered health care through classroom and clinical education experiences. Students will study essential topics including injury prevention, clinical examination and diagnosis, acute care of injuries and illnesses, and more. Students will also be well prepared to sit for the national certification examination through the Board of Certification Inc. Athletic trainers work within a variety of health care settings including universities, hospitals and physician offices, industrial settings, performing arts, and more.

GPA: A minimum of 2.75 on a scale of 4.0 Three letters of recommendation Applicant demonstrates the ethical, personal, and professional qualities to fulfill the roll of the athletic trainer as determined by review of the applicant’s references Meets Technical Standards of the athletic trainer Successfully pass background checks as required Physical examination and immunization records Proof of health Insurance Official copies of academic records from each college/university attended, accompanied by official English translations. TOEFL iBT: 79 or IELTS 6.5 overall. GRE may be waived if GPA is 3.0 or higher Submit the affidavit of support form which is required for verification of financial resources in order to issue the I-20. Original bank statements verifying account balances & Original letters from bank officials written in English on bank letterhead verifying the account holder, account number and current balance in U.S. dollars.
