The Master of Arts program in History is one of the leading master s programs nationally that focuses on world history as a primary field. Our 19 full-time faculty members introduce students to a range of historical questions and methodologies and guide students in carrying out extensive research projects. Through courses spanning the globe, students learn to put the past in context and to discern its crucial relevance to current conditions and future possibilities at the local, national, and global levels. Graduates have continued on to earn PhDs in history or related disciplines and to employment in an array of fields.
