To be admitted to study in the MA program, an applicant must complete 24 hours of undergraduate history courses and achieved a score of at least 500 (old scale) or 153 (new scale) on the verbal portion of the GRE and 4.5 (old scale) or 4.0 (new scale) on the analytical writing portion of the exam.
