The master's degree in Journalism and Strategic Media is a blend of academic and professional content. While some of the graduates have gone on to academic careers, more graduates have moved up in their jobs at media organizations.
You will have eight years to complete your degree. Work closely with your advisor to develop your personal plan at the very beginning of your studies.
We have master's program with four emphases—Integrated Strategic Media, News and Storytelling, Visual Media and Mass Media Research. Students choose an emphasis to guide the courses they take.
A U.S. bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university. Official transcripts. GPA: A minimum of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.5 overall.
