Program Overview

The Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree prepares individuals for careers in professional counseling settings such as behavioral and mental health agencies, hospitals and clinics, human service agencies, college and university counseling centers, and residential treatment facilities. The curriculum provides a blend of counselor training experiences designed to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional counselor. Graduates are prepared to pursue National Counselor Certification (NCC) and licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC).

Application An undergraduate degree equivalent to US degree. Official transcripts. GPA: A minimum of 2.8 on a scale of 4.0 Three letters of recommendation Official copies of academic records from each college/university attended, accompanied by official English translations. TOEFL iBT: 95 or IELTS 7.0 overall. GRE may be waived if GPA is 3.0 or higher A 500-word self-written personal essay in English CV Criminal Background Check Submit the affidavit of support form which is required for verification of financial resources in order to issue the I-20. Original bank statements verifying account balances & Original letters from bank officials written in English on bank letterhead verifying the account holder, account number and current balance in U.S. dollars.
