The Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) track, prepared by nursing faculty at Georgia Baptist College of Nursing (GBCN), adheres to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), The Essentials of Master's Education for Advanced Nursing Practice, 2011. The AGACNP track prepares nurses to manage individuals across the adult life span that have acute, critical, and complex chronic conditions in acute care settings. Nurse practitioners with this specialty provide care ranging from disease prevention to acute and critical care management, restoring health, and/or providing symptom management.

Official transcripts from the previously attended schools, Graduation from a baccalaureate nursing program, An undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. 3 leters of reference, Cover letter, English language profeciency TOEFL score of 100 (Internet based TOEFL) as well as minimum scores of 20 in each of the subtests in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
