The Master of Science in Nursing with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Primary Care (PNP-PC) clinical specialty prepares advanced practice nurses who will promote the health and development of children and adolescents as individuals and as population groups encountering changing health care systems within urban and global environments. Graduates leave prepared to provide pediatric primary health care including health maintenance, anticipatory guidance, well-child examinations, developmental screening, and diagnose and manage common and complex health/illness conditions.
