The Physician Assistant Department at the Ruskin Campus is offering a Master of Physician Assistant Science degree available through a post-baccalaureate curriculum. The curriculum is predominantly clinical during the final year of the program. Adjunct regional medical faculty, in conjunction with various health care institutions, introduces the students to professional physician assistant training. Clinical sites are offered primarily in Florida.
Application A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university A minimum 3.0 overall GPA is required A minimum 3.0 science course GPA is required A minimum 3.0 prerequisite course GPA is required Course prerequisites must have been completed within the last ten years Recommendation forms from three evaluators A personal interview Official transcripts. IELTS 7.0 overall. 30 hours of documented volunteer/paid medical experience or 30 hours of shadowing a Physician Assistant Acuity Insights Assessments - admissions assessments of non-cognitive skills Submit the affidavit of support form which is required for verification of financial resources in order to issue the I-20. Original bank statements verifying account balances & Original letters from bank officials written in English on bank letterhead verifying the account holder, account number and current balance in U.S. dollars.
