Program Overview

Applications for the post-baccalaureate option will be reviewed on a space available basis. One of the features of Gannon's Physician Assistant program is that it offers a 5-year master's degree that allows students to enter at the freshman level and complete the Masters in Physician Assistant Science without reapplying upon completion of the bachelor's degree.  The PA program is limited in the number of seats we are able to offer due to limitations set by the accrediting body.

Additional Information & Requirements

Application A baccalaureate degree Official transcripts. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required from previous professional education and prerequisites must have been completed within the last seven years. Three letters of recommendation Interview CV 30 hours of documented volunteer/paid medical experience or 30 hours of shadowing a Physician Assistant. Official copies of academic records from each college/university attended, accompanied by official English translations. TOEFL iBT: 79 or IELTS 6.5 overall. Submit the affidavit of support form which is required for verification of financial resources in order to issue the I-20. Original bank statements verifying account balances & Original letters from bank officials written in English on bank letterhead verifying the account holder, account number and current balance in U.S. dollars.
