2 Years On Campus Masters Program
Hofstra UniversityHofstra University’s School of Education offers the Math Education with STEM Integration, MSEd to candidates seeking their first NYS certification teaching Mathematics at the Grades 7-12 level. This program is designed to blend on-campus preparation with field experiences in a variety of school settings, culminating in full-time student teaching. Literacy, multicultural education, and information technology are integrated throughout all aspects of the program.
Application Bachelor’s or graduate degree from a regionally accredited US Institution Unofficial Transcripts GPA 3.0 out of (4.0 scale) A minimum GPA of 2.75 on coursework in the content area in which certification is being sought Personal Statement Two Letters of Recommendation Interview TOEFL iBT: 80 OR IELTS 6.5 overall. GRE (optional)
