The purpose of the Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry for Hispanics is to prepare lay ecclesial ministers and to provide focused theological reflection on Hispanic cultural contexts and social realities currently challenging the Roman Catholic Church and other Christian communities. All coursework offered in the program is conducted in Spanish.
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average., Sufficient undergraduate preparation usually 18 credit hours in Theology / Religious Studies at the undergraduate level or life experience as verified by objective norms, Two letters of recommendation, A short essay indicating why a graduate degree will help fulfill one's career goals,Submit complete official transcripts from every college or university attended, regardless of whether or not a degree was completed, Submit a statement of purpose or career narrative statement as required by the specific school, Submit official transcripts from all secondary and post secondary institutions, recommendation form or official letterhead from the recommending institution, English language proficiency tests: TOEFL Internet based- minimum score 79 or higher, TOEFL Paper Based-minimum score 550 or higher, IELTS-minimum score 6.5 or higher, DUOLINGO ENGLISH TEST-minimum score 95 or higher, PTE Academic score 53, Submit official translations of all documents and educational credentials if they are not in English
