The Illinois LLM program is designed to prepare students with or without any prior legal training to excel in their professional careers.
Foreign-educated students in the LLM program are introduced to the U.S. legal system and provided the opportunity to specialize in their own area of academic or professional interest.
U.S.-trained lawyers can also enhance their legal expertise to meet their professional and career goals in the LLM program.
LSAC Application A bachelor’s degree, LLB, or equivalent degree. The bachelor’s degree need not be in law. English and native language transcripts and certificates of degree are required to be uploaded. Official Transcripts GPA 3.0 out of (4.0 scale), generally (55%) from Indian Curriculum. TOEFL iBT: 103 OR IELTS 7.5 overall 1 Letter of Recommendation Personal Statement CV. To hold a place in the incoming LLM class, students are required to pay a non-refundable $750 seat deposit by the deadline date provided.
