The Chemistry Department offers two master's degree programs: Non-Thesis Program and Thesis Program. Thesis program specialization is offered in biochemistry, analytical, inorganic, organic physical chemistry, and polymer science. The UMass Lowell chemistry department has an approved Non-Thesis Master of Science in Chemistry (NTMC) degree and it ordinarly requires 30 credits.
